Doug and I met at the TH at 9:00 ish and hiked to a campsite about 0.5 m N of the rainwater collector (13 miles, including the out-and-back to the guzzler). We pitched our tents, then hiked to the collector for water. The campsite was on a hill in the middle of a valley, and winds were minimal. The views were spectacular.
